About:We are a friendly, rapidly growing group (12 members); we range in ages from early 20s to mid 50s. Our Scheme provides cover between 8am and 11pm, 7 days a week. We also provide ad-hoc night cover. With our local community including many elderly residents as well as young families, we attend a very wide range of emergencies. A number of our team work in healthcare, but no experience is needed. In addition to volunteer responders, we are keen to welcome people onto our Supporters Group. We ask volunteer responders to give just two evening or day shifts per month - days and hours are very flexible. We are particularly interested in hearing from new members who are able to respond to calls during the day time. We look forward to meeting you! We are on target to attend over 360 call outs in this financial year - more than doubling last year's figure.
Thanks:To our supporters: Wellington College - meeting room hire. The Deli (Dukes Ride. Outdoor & Indoor Living (The High Street). LedCo http://www.ledco.co.uk/ (Suppliers of lighting equipment for professionals. The Rotary Club of Crowthorne & Sandhurst.

We are always on the lookout for new responders, ideally we would like to setup a CFR group in as many different areas throughout the four counties covered by the south central area as possible. If you are interested in becoming a responder, please Click Here. If you don't fancy the idea of actually attending an emergency situation, groups always need organisers, fund fundraisers and volunteers who are willing to help in other capacities.

Please bear in mind that all the work that community responders do is on a voluntary basis, the equipment has to be bought and maintained, which all costs real money. If you want to make a donation and help a particular group, or the scheme in general, whatever the amount, it is all very gratefully received and will make a difference!
